Whether you are a parent watching your teenager struggle and not knowing how to reach them, a young person who wants to understand what is happening inside them, or an adult who has been carrying something for longer than you should have to, you are in the right place.
This is where the guesswork ends.
Most people who find their way here have already tried something. A GP referral that went nowhere. A waiting list that stretches for months. A book, a podcast, a course that gave them insight but not change. They are not short of information. What they have been missing is the right framework, delivered with enough depth and enough compassion to actually shift something.
Dr Anouk Online exists for exactly that. The resources and programmes here are built on over 20 years of clinical experience and grounded in the evidence-based approaches that genuinely work for anxiety and trauma. They are designed to be used while you are waiting for therapy, as a first step before you are ready for one-to-one support, or alongside the work you are already doing.
You do not have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to be ready to understand.
I am Dr Anouk, a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with teenagers, families and adults across anxiety, trauma and emotional regulation.
My work draws on evidence-based approaches including Compassion Focused Therapy, EMDR and trauma-focused CBT, but what shapes it just as much is a deep belief that most of what people struggle with makes complete sense when you understand the nervous system, the impact of early experiences and the way our minds and bodies respond to stress and threat.
I am not here to tell you what is wrong with you. I am here to help you understand why you feel the way you do, and what you can do about it.

When your teenager is struggling, the hardest thing can be not knowing what to do. You want to help but everything you try seems to either make things worse or not reach them at all.
Meanwhile they are withdrawing, their world is getting smaller and you are exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
The Resilience Room is where that changes.
You do not need to have all the answers. You just need a place to start.
In the Resilience Room, you’ll find:
Guidance on responding to anxiety at home
Videos you can watch together to get on the same page.
Therapist- guided courses to help your teen (and you) understand and unravel anxiety.

You have probably been managing just fine on the outside. But underneath that there is something that has never quite shifted. Memories that surface without warning. A pattern you keep repeating. A feeling that you should be over it by now.
You are not weak. You are not stuck. You are responding exactly the way a nervous system does when it has been through something hard. And recovery is possible.
In the Recovery Room, you’ll discover:
Information videos to understand trauma and the nervous system
Resources to get you ready for therapy or guide your self-directed healing.
Therapist Guided programmes for those who are ready to heal.
